Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for an Ebilling Specialist in its Buffalo office.Essential Job Functions:Pursue expert knowledge of various eBilling vendorsKnowledge of timekeepers, rates, WIP fees, and disbursementsKnowledge and understanding of client guidelinesInvestigate and research problems and work to resolve in a timely mannerPrioritize and organize numerous email requestsResponsible for follow up and completion of assigned tasksAssist with special projects and deadlines as neededCommunicate regularly with clients, attorneys, and other office staff regarding problematic issuesEffectively collaborate with the Billing Process team to foster a professional and positive team culture while addressing the overall needs of the departmentAcquire comprehensive knowledge of all billing processes and applications to become a subject matter expert regarding the firm's programs and assigned ebilling vendorsPerform effectively in a fast paced and deadline driven environmentDemonstrate self-motivation and ownership of assigned workPerform administrative work, including but not limited to, outlook, document management, copier, fax and postage machineAssist with department training when neededThoroughly and timely address inquiries while communicating effectivelyContribute by recommending actions that would allow for more effective processes in the departmentAdditional duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities & Experience:Two (2) years of billing, legal, or accounting experienceIntermediate computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft ApplicationsStrong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skillsSelf-motivated and takes ownership of assigned work.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to compile, analyze, and interpret dataExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screensMay be requested to work beyond normal work hours and weekends for special projectsWorks well in a team environmentAbility to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervisionAbility to maintain confidentialityWillingness and ability to assume new tasks and responsibilitiesCommitment to follow-up and issue resolutionCompetence in using math and performing calculationsBenefits:The hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $26.00. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
