Position Summary

The School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo is seeking applications for a Clinical Procurement Account Clerk . The clinical procurement account clerk is responsible for:

Managing the procurement inventory, receiving, and distribution of clinical supplies, instruments, and equipment to support patient care and educational activities across all units.
Maintaining accurate purchasing, inventory, reconciliation, and quality control records to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Supporting students, residents, faculty, and staff by coordinating clinical, preclinical, and dental lab supply needs and resolving ordering issues.
Coordinating vendor relationships, including order placement, delivery tracking, laboratory work orders, and billing inquiries.
Providing operational and administrative support through training activities, meetings, process improvement recommendations, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in utilizing various technological tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical dental experience.
Confidential, professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in a higher education setting and a healthcare facility preferred.

Salary Range
$45,000 - $55,000
