Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, collaborating with physicians or practicing independently (as per your credentials)
• Educate patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness initiatives, and chronic condition management
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies consistent with the scope of practice
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic illness management
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and seamless patient care
• Accurately and thoroughly document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licensure and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
