Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Triad area seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and priorities. Key Responsibilities Support general accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules Analyze financial data and assist with identifying process improvements Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Support audits and special accounting projects as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information Leverage accounting systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting Experience working across multiple accounting functions with a broad accounting knowledge base Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing priorities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Pay Details $35.00 to $45.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
