Direct Support Professional

Chandler/Gilbert Arc (CGArc) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities reach their full potential. CGArc is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals in community-based homes and support them in developing life skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing supportive relationships with individuals
• Assisting with personal and household tasks
• Promoting community inclusion
• Escorting individuals to community activities
• Participating in Individual Support Plans (ISP)
• Completing required documentation

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Eligible drivers must have a clean 39-month MVD report
• Must pass a Fingerprint Clearance Card and background check
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred
• Eligible drivers preferred
