Infrastructure Engineer/ System Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer/ System Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chandler AZ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise with container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker while managing and maintaining scalable systems.

Rate Range: $65/Hour to $70/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Infrastructure Engineer/ System Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain Linux/UNIX systems to ensure stability, performance, and security of infrastructure environments.
• Deploy, configure, and support containerized applications using technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Collaborate with technology and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across public cloud platforms and on-prem environments.
• Support automation, system upgrades, and environment provisioning to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with financial services standards while maintaining secure and resilient system operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or system administration within financial services or similar industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX system administration and container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker.
• Proven experience working with public cloud platforms and collaborating with technology/infrastructure teams to support scalable, secure environments.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
