Grounds Keeper / Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Location: Houston, TX 77066
Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Grounds & Facility Laborer to support daily cleaning, groundskeeping, and general labor duties at an industrial facility. This is a hands-on position requiring both indoor and outdoor work .

The pay range is $15–$17/hour , depending on experience. Candidates with strong sit-down forklift experience who can operate independently and also have groundskeeping experience may qualify for the top rate of $17/hour .

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen, lobby, and bathrooms
• Perform general groundskeeping and facility cleanup
• Pick up trash, debris, pallets, and scrap materials
• Sweep and maintain indoor and outdoor work areas
• Move and organize materials
• Assist with loading and unloading
• Operate a sit-down forklift when qualified
• Perform heavy lifting and other physical labor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
• Sit-down forklift experience 
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

 

$17/hour is available for a plug-and-play candidate with proven sit-down forklift skills who also has groundskeeping/facility maintenance experience.
