Hurst & Siebert is a Commercial General Contractor specializing in High-End Luxury Retail seeking a Superintendent who will contribute to the team goal of facilitating successful projects.

This role supervises field construction and partners with Project Manager ensuring smooth operations throughout the build-out of the construction project. 

• Lead all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, and quality control.
• Manage quality control procedures including identifying deficiencies and implementing corrections.
• Work with the project team and develop an understanding of project strategy including scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
• Communicate and partner with PM to maintain an updated schedule that reflects project changes and meets time requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to execute project build out.
• Manage the construction trade work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the contract documents.
• Utilize Procore to verify plan changes and updates have been implemented and all subcontractors are in compliance.
• Manage and implement a site safety program, to include on-site safety meetings, and ensure subcontractor compliance with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Act as a liaison with inspection agencies.
• Manage daily construction reporting on Procore, Holobuilder and 3-week look ahead schedules.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Willing to travel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience in luxury retail stores is required.
• Must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, desire to learn, and ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office, Holobuilder, and Bluebeam.
