Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A staffing opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide maternity leave coverage at a retail pharmacy located in Selma, CA. This contract position begins in the last week of August and is expected to last approximately 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure proper documentation
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary medications
• Provide exceptional customer service in a retail setting

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license to practice in California
• Previous experience as a retail pharmacist with strong prescription dispensing skills
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
