A community health center pharmacy in Sanger, CA requires an experienced pharmacist for urgent full-time coverage. This contract position is ideal for pharmacists with recent retail or community pharmacy experience seeking immediate work in a well-established setting. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and verify medication orders.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage inventory and oversee pharmacy operations within the community health center.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a pharmacist.
• Recent experience in retail or community pharmacy settings.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy management system preferred.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This opportunity is a contract role starting immediately with an initial 4-week duration, with possible extension. Local candidates are automatically considered, but travel candidates are welcome with provided mileage and meal stipends, plus arranged hotel accommodations.
