Job Title: Receiving and Shipping Clerk
Position Number: To be completed by HR Location/Worksite: NMRLC Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA Travel: As required Status: Full-Time, C ontingent Upon Contract Award Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Government background investigation and CAC Date Added: April 9, 2026 Job Summary The Receiving and Shipping Clerk performs warehouse receiving, shipping, and logistics operations to support medical logistics and operational requirements. Duties and Responsibilities- Perform receiving and logistics operations in a dock or warehouse environment.
- Process new material receipts including unloading, inspection, verification, and acceptance.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify condition, quantity, labeling, and documentation.
- Perform inventorying, storage, packaging, and shipping using approved material handling practices.
- Process material returns and ensure proper documentation and routing.
- Maintain cold-chain material integrity through temperature verification and documentation.
- Handle hazardous materials, controlled items, and narcotics in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Input and maintain shelf-life data in approved inventory management systems.
- Operate delivery vehicles and material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to receiving and shipping activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
