Overview
Certified Sleep Tech needed for a travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for an 8-week contract in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role supports sleep apnea services across a hospital network and affiliated clinics. Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) on a 3 days-per-week pattern, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,313 to $1,374.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the sleep apnea services within the department, coordinating activities with hospital networks, physician groups, and rural clinics
- Ensure equipment and patient care areas meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date policy and procedure manuals consistent with regulators
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned staff, including in-service training as needed
- Collaborate with the medical director on technical aspects of the department and staff proficiency
- Assist with scheduling, resource use, and program coordination to meet goals and timelines

Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Technical degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR from an approved vendor per policy; Facility-specific BLS required
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Licensure: Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- Other: Ability to work in a hospital sleep lab environment and meet the shift requirements described
