Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct an array of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, all while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, solve discrepancies as they arise, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Participate in specimen collection and assist in prepping samples for testing when necessary.
• Document all procedures with meticulous detail, play an active role in training new team members or students, and help uphold the quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment, diligently following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualified health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your time within the position.
