Description - What You'll Do

• Carry out routine and complex clinical exams-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results thoroughly to ensure precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and conduct necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for subsequent testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, assist in training new team members, and foster high laboratory standards.
• Keep a clean and secure work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• An undergraduate degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, together with preparedness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your tenure.
