The Role FSAC is a fast-paced, high-volume fertility medical office located in Thousand Oaks, CA. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our close-knit team of office team of 4 total members. You’ll be a vital part of the patient experience from the moment someone walks through our doors or picks up the phone — and your warmth, accuracy, and professionalism will make a real difference in some of the most meaningful moments of our patients’ lives. What You’ll Do Answer and direct high-volume phone calls with professionalism and warmth Schedule patient appointments and coordinate surgery scheduling and authorizations Take accurate messages and relay them promptly to the appropriate staff Prepare charge slips and accurately document patient charge tickets Pull, file, and manage patient charts Handle general office tasks including filing, faxing, copying, and scanning Assist medical and administrative staff with day-to-day operations Maintain strict patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance at all times Provide exceptional customer service to every patient and visitor Rotate between front desk check-in and switchboard responsibilities as needed What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or higher Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred Experience with medical records and surgery scheduling highly preferred Proficient in medical office software and EHR systems Strong computer skills with high attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem-solve and use sound judgment in a fast-paced environment A reliable team player who works well in a small, collaborative department Schedule This is a full-time, in-person position working out of Thousand Oaks, CA. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (some days being 7:00am-3:30pm) with 1 Saturday per month and rotating holidays.
