Receiving Coordinator
Location: Long Beach, CA
Pay Range: $25-$30/hr depending on experience and level.
Schedule: Flexible
We are seeking a Receiving Coordinator to support logistics and warehouse operations in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and routing incoming materials while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Verify part quantities, condition, certifications, and traceability documentation
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance on non-conforming materials
- Label, store, and route materials appropriately
- Maintain compliance with ESD, FOD, safety, and inventory control procedures
- Report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods
- Support warehouse organization and audit readiness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read purchase orders and technical documents
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of AS9100, FAI, and quality inspection processes
- Experience with serialized inventory and material traceability
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
