Clinical InstructorWhen you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Supervises student interns participating in the clinical program(s). Schedules student rotations, evaluates clinical performance developing objective performance evaluations.Assists with planning, implementing various technologist retention and recruitment programs with modality managers, radiology director and human resources.Provides and coordinates educational activities for staff and documentation of continuing education. May supervise and provide CPR training and/or Fit testing for Radiology Staff.Able to perform a variety of diagnostic/technical exams on both in-patients and out-patients in a Level I trauma setting including: portables, fluoroscopy and OR exams as well as supervising technical staff.Provides supervision of staff using policies, practices and professional standards to guide work.Required Qualifications:Vocational or Technical training in in the appropriate modality (Radiography, Sonography, MRI) required.License MARadTech-Radiography required., and Registration American Registry of Rad Tech required., or Certificate 1 Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer required., and Certificate 2 Basic Life Support required.5-8 years related work experience required.New hires will have 30 days to provide BLS certification. Certification has to be with the American Heart Association (AHA).MA license required for X-Ray (including IR and INR), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and CT.Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.Competencies:Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by precedents, policies and objectives. Results may impact the operations of one or more departments.Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service and staff training to meet customer service standards and expectations for the assigned unit(s). Resolves service issues in the assigned unit(s) in a timely and respectful manner.Age based Competencies: Employees in this job must be competent to provide patient care to the following age groups: Neonatal: Birth to 6 months, Young adult: 16-30 years, Middle Age: 30 - 60 years, Elderly: 60 -. Physical Nature of the Job: Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.Pay Range:$45.20 - $80.27The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
