Business Development Manager

Director of Business Development Manager Lead the sales of complex IT staffing and consulting solutions, manage the full lifecycle of job orders, and build strategic client relationships across local and national practices. Responsibilities Sell strategic IT solutions, staffing, and consulting projects in your local market while cross‑selling across national practices and sister offices. Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, ad calls, skills marketing, email, social media, in‑person meetings, and other methods. Establish and conduct client visits according to performance goals. Actively develop and maintain a target account list. Generate new job orders according to performance objectives. Manage open job orders from intake to fulfillment. Achieve performance objectives related to activity and individual gross margin according to job level and line of business. Consistently utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business as well as planning daily activities. Collaborate with teammates to cross‑sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate. Other duties may be added, or this description amended at any time. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 to 7 years technology sales and/or staffing experience. Active and/or leading member of technology networking groups with proven success in technology sales or staffing. Established reputation and network within the IT community in your respective market. Technical Skills Working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Experience with Bullhorn preferred. Basic Skills Able to work with a sense of urgency, meet tight deadlines, and is organized, detailed, and results‑driven. Desired Competencies Clear, concise, and confident communication. Attentive listening skills. Reasonable judgement and objective opinions. Effective marketing of value to the target audience. High level of emotional intelligence. Strong written communication. Adaptability to change, delays, or unexpected events. Leadership with self‑direction and continuous improvement. Relationship building and trust building. Social confidence in interactions. Travel Less than 10% occasional travel to annual conferences or client sites. Benefits Base salary and uncapped commission plans. Annual vacations for meeting top‑tier performance goals.
