Make an impact supporting students as a full-time Paraprofessional with American Sign Language (ASL) skills. Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with the ability to interpret in an educational environment.
• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in school settings highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both signed and spoken.
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and the ability to encourage student engagement.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver ASL interpretation for students during classroom instruction and activities.
• Assist students in understanding lesson materials, assignments, and teacher instructions.
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Encourage student participation and help foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure students’ academic and social needs are met.
• Monitor and document student progress as required.
• Adapt communication styles to meet individual student needs.
