Team Lead, Grants Management

The Team Lead, Grants Management will join our practice to deliver mission‑critical projects, mentor and train emerging talent, and lead a dynamic team in a fast‑paced federal environment. Arc Aspicio operates in a hybrid work environment; employees work at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, or remotely, depending on client, contract, and company needs. Candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment. Responsibilities Work on client projects—taking full ownership of tasks and workstreams that contribute to overall project goals and delivering high‑quality solutions Manage federal grant programs, supporting both awardees and client staff Analyze business problems using interviews, knowledge, context, and quantitative data to identify improvements in processes, organizational structures, and technology for high‑priority client initiatives Collaborate with clients and teams to build on shared knowledge and accelerate the development of innovative yet practical solutions Create high‑quality work products and deliverables, including documents, presentations, and data dashboards that enable client decision‑making Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining excellent attention to detail and finding ways to exceed client expectations Lead projects and supervise teams with a clear understanding of consulting business fundamentals Contribute to company service areas beyond the project to build new skills and support business development Promote a collaborative culture that encourages learning and growth for all team members Deliver outstanding client service, solving tough problems, and achieving mission results Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communication skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to the team and clients Required Qualifications At least 6 years of professional work experience 2 years of grants management experience 4 years of consulting experience or comparable analytical experience in a directly relevant business role Experience in large, complex federal government or other nationwide programs, preferably with a focus on grants and program management Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Outstanding written and oral communication, collaboration skills, and strong leadership potential Capability to work effectively remotely and in person Technologically savvy, particularly with Microsoft products and collaboration tools such as SharePoint Desire to grow within a consulting firm, engaging in company events and special projects Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to various locations U.S. citizenship only; current or ability to obtain security clearance required Key leadership and problem‑solving attributes, including executive presence, entrepreneurial spirit, and a collaborative mindset Preferred Qualifications Strong interest in homeland security and emergency management Motivation to develop as a consultant, increase leadership ability, and deepen project‑management knowledge Experience with grants management, program management, and/or performance management Training in project management, data analysis, and consulting Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $78,000 – $102,000. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors including skill set, experience, education, certifications, and contractual or client requirements.
