A private investment firm and family office is seeking an experienced professional to join its accounting and operations team. This role offers broad exposure across private equity and family office activities, including accounting, financial reporting, investment administration, compliance, tax coordination and general operations.

The individual will independently manage projects from initiation through completion, coordinate with external administrators and advisors, and serve as a key point of contact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash management and investment tracking across multiple entities
• Process capital calls and distributions and support investment-performance reporting
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other external providers
• Support the onboarding of new investments, including entity formation, banking and operational setup
• Assist with tax, estate-planning, real estate, insurance and philanthropic matters
• Lead process-improvement, systems-integration and automation initiatives
• Support compliance matters and other special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Approximately 2–6 years of audit, tax, accounting, finance, or operational experience
• Family office, investment-management or project-management experience is preferred but not required
• Strong accounting foundation and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and shift between responsibilities
• Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership
• Ability to improve processes and supervise junior team members

Compensation

• $110,000-$160,000 total compensation, based on experience
