This Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p position is located in Buena. The posted wage range reflects the full range for this role. Placement within the range is based on job-related factors, and new hires typically start below the midpoint. Position Summary: The Housing Janitor position entails meticulous upkeep and organization of designated areas, showcasing a consistent commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. With a focus on attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, the role involves maintaining a hygienic environment conducive to the well-being of all occupants. • Perform sweeping, garbage collection, and disposal, clean main doors and windows, vacuum entryways, wipe down walls, mop floors, and disinfect water fountains.
• Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning toilets inside and out, replenishing toilet paper, maintaining sanitary containers, cleaning floor edges and areas around toilets, sanitizing sinks, and restocking hand soap.
• Adhere to protocols for the safe usage of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.
• Report significant repairs and enhancements required for building systems promptly to maintenance personnel.
• Request necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Inform the manager about any issues, repairs, or concerns arising in the facilities. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six months commercial/residential janitorial experience
- Valid drivers license and insurance with 3 years licensed driving experience
- Comprehension
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and written instructions or other information.

- Ability to plan, organize, and carry out assignments from management staff with minimal direction.
- Ability to analyze situations and make decisions that moderately impact the immediate work unit.

- Ability to organize and prioritize job duties effectively and timely, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.

- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, and communicate orally.
- Physical requirements for this position include hearing, seeing, smelling, speaking, feeling, reaching, pinching, and repetitive motions.
- This position requires standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
- This position may require exerting up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.
