Sr. Manager, Engineering - Final Assembly & FLC AME

Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering role at Baxter overseeing final assembly and advanced manufacturing engineering operations. Lead engineering teams, drive process optimization, and support new product introductions while ensuring compliance with FDA and quality standards in a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor manufacturing engineering team, fostering collaborative and achievement-focused culture
- Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead multi-functional engineering projects from concept through implementation with timelines and budgets
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, cGMP standards and partner with cross-functional teams on manufacturing strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years manufacturing engineering experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and managing complex manufacturing projects
- Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO, cGMP, and regulated manufacturing environments
- Leadership and team development capabilities with strategic problem-solving skills
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related project/process improvement certifications preferred
- Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and manufacturing data analysis
Compensation: $152,000 - $209,000 base
