Key Responsibilities\n

• Effectively manage a caseload of clients while establishing strong rapport and positive therapeutic relationships, ensuring professional boundaries and ethical practice.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address challenges, and plan for appropriate discharges when suitable.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that focus on actionable goals tailored to each client’s unique challenges and aspirations.

• Keep accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to organizational standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine initial treatment approaches at the outset of engagement.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions for continuous professional development and reflective practice.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in using technology, including spreadsheets, electronic health records (EHR), and telehealth applications.

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and families required.

• Ability to conduct intake assessments with sensitivity and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in integrated care environments, familiarity with the PIMSY practice management system, and a track record of managing challenging caseloads will be highly regarded. Western Mind Care Hub offers a competitive annual salary between $75,000 and $90,000, commensurate with experience.
