We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a 4-Axis CNC Horizontal Mill and Multi-Axis CNC Lathe with Milling capabilities . The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, be able to read blueprints, and possess the ability to produce high-quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
Essential Responsibilities- Set up and operate 4-Axis CNC Horizontal Milling Machines.
- Set up and operate Multi-Axis CNC Lathes with live tooling and milling capabilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to ensure quality production.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues as needed.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with customer specifications and tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and efficiencies.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience with CNC Horizontal Mills and/or Multi-Axis Lathes required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
- Experience holding tight tolerances and performing quality inspections.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with 4-Axis Horizontal Milling Centers.
- Experience with live tooling, sub-spindles, and multi-axis turning centers.
- Previous setup and programming experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
