Jabil is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to work in our Auburn Hills, MI plant. How will you make an impact? As a Purchasing Supervisor with Jabil, you will be responsible for all of the Materials Professionals within a specific workcell or site; this may include Analysts, Buyers, Planners and Supervisors. What will you do? Leads and administrates the Materials Analysis teams for a Site. May lead a group of professional analysts in Purchasing, Inventory control, Planning and configuration Management Support. Supervises the data management process. Leads cross-functional assignments and projects. Works with site management to develop organizational objectives. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How will you get here? Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Logistics Management, Business Management or other similar related discipline; MBA preferred. At least 3 years of experience working with Materials Purchasing in a Manufacturing environment. A minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes/tariffs is a plus. Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e‑mail skills required. Experience with Project or Program Management is a plus.
