Laboratory Technician

Overview Solenis is a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions with over 78 manufacturing facilities worldwide. Responsibilities Operate and maintain material testing instrumentation used for paper and related materials. Conduct standardized physical and mechanical tests to evaluate paper properties. Ensure testing procedures are followed accurately and consistently. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed. Develop and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for laboratory procedures and equipment. Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspaces. Prepare raw materials and maintain equipment used in paper making. Review and update laboratory testing methods to ensure accuracy and reliability. Support the development and improvement of testing methods and procedures. Prepare reports summarizing laboratory findings and experimental results. Qualifications High school diploma or Associate’s degree in a science or technical field. Interest in laboratory work, materials testing, or manufacturing.
