The role involves providing care to patients recovering from surgery and managing a variety of medical conditions. You will be required to float to different areas as needed. Weekend work will include half of scheduled shifts. Patient care responsibilities include the management of various medical devices and conducting thorough assessments. You will work closely with interdisciplinary support teams, including therapy and pharmacy services. A background in trauma care at various levels is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. You will be expected to complete all necessary onboarding requirements promptly. This unit provides care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit has a total of 36 beds, and patient ratios are maintained at a safe level.
