Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine requiring 1+ year of MFM experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.
Details
- Outpatient maternal fetal medicine clinic setting focused on high risk OB care
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Must be willing to float to cover the Cary clinic for call-offs as needed
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment
- Epic charting system preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of maternal fetal medicine experience required
- Current BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- ARDMS and ARDMS FE certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasounds, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, and umbilical cord Doppler preferred
- Experience with fetal anatomy assessment including abdomen, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, diaphragm, head, and heart preferred
- Experience with amniocentesis and ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration procedures preferred
- Must be able to pass an EKG/Telemetry exam onsite during orientation

- Perform maternal fetal medicine ultrasound exams in a high risk OB setting
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a reduced rate
