Summary The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the strategic partner to assigned business units focusing on the areas of Employee/Labor Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Development, etc. This position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business knowledge about the business unit's current state, future objectives, culture, and alignment to the organizational goals. Ensures employees and managers receive proper guidance and counsel regarding fair and consistent treatment of employees as well as encourage and facilitate open communication to resolve employee issues. Minimum Qualifications Formal Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or the equivalent in training and experience Experience & Training Required: Three (3) years increasingly responsible professional Human Resources experience; experience in employee relations preferred Experience in a multi-facility health care setting preferred, which includes non-union and union environments Experience outside of health care and in a for-profit setting would also be helpful Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
