  Job Purpose:

• Guest Experience Agent — Front Desk

  Hotel Saint Louis | St. Louis, MO

  We’re looking for a high-performing Guest Experience Agent who understands that the front desk is the heart of the hotel.

  This position is for someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of people, can stay calm under pressure, and knows how to turn a problem into an opportunity to create a great guest experience.

  What You’ll Do

  • Welcome and engage guests with a warm, professional and genuine approach
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, payments and guest requests accurately
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints with confidence, professionalism and good judgment
  • Take ownership of problems rather than simply passing them to someone else
  • Effectively multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Communicate clearly with guests and all hotel departments
  • Handle phone calls, emails and in-person requests professionally
  • Maintain accurate guest information and follow hotel and Marriott standards
  • Promote hotel amenities, outlets and services when appropriate
  • Assist with upselling and creating additional revenue opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with housekeeping, engineering, food & beverage and management
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional front desk
  • Complete assigned tasks without constant supervision
  • Protect guest privacy and confidential information
  • Follow through on guest requests from start to finish

  Qualifications

  • Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service or guest-facing experience preferred
  • Front desk experience preferred
  • Marriott experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations
  • Must be dependable and punctual
