Medical Surgical Registered NurseThis position requires a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to work nights in a medical surgical unit. The nurse will care for a patient ratio of 1:7 using a team nursing approach. Additional support will be provided by healthcare team members. Candidates must have experience working in a large hospital setting. Experience in Level I or Level II trauma preferred. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position. Weekend shifts may be required as needed, and block schedules will be discussed during the interview. Local candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered. All requested time off must be included during the submission process. All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements for the flu, with no exemptions allowed. Candidates must be able to work required holidays if they fall during the assignment. Travelers must have successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment. Candidates with EPIC experience are preferred. Clear and direct communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams is essential.
