Requirements

• Required certification: ICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year recent ICU experience required 2. Cases: COPD, Encephalopathy, Drug Overdose, DKA, AKI, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, HF, A-fib, ARDS, Sepsis, Pneumonia, acute GI Bleed, Strokes, Traumas, multi-organ dysfunction 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH required 4. License: Valid Michigan license required; pending MI license OK with concrete ETA and proof of application 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Work every other weekend; float to other ICU and Med Surg units; travelers are first to float 8. RTO: No RTO in first two weeks; holiday coverage required with flexibility; summer holiday flexibility required; all RTO must be presented prior to offer 9. Returning Staff: 6 months return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate with no radius restrictions; first timers OK 11. Background: Must note any background hits on profile and submission prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable, completed during orientation and annually, self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not required; first timers OK 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only; include proof with submission; exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of signing contract 16.
