PRE-K AUXILIARY TEACHER (AIDE)

Job Summary
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma
- Child Development Credential (CDA)
- 9 hours of approved coursework in child development or Early Childhood Education from a regionally accredited Institution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned duties from the director and lead teacher.
- Work with individual or small groups to reinforce skills introduced by the teacher.
- Perform clerical and record-keeping duties as assigned by the director and lead teacher.
- Handle discipline as directed by the director and teacher.
- Operate and care for equipment and materials used in assignments.
- Report to the teacher any problem or special information about students.
- Keep all information concerning school business, students, and personnel confidential.
- Refrain from giving orders to or expressing judgment of teachers or other employees.
- Collect anecdotal notes on standards that are taught.
Annual Calendar Days: 9 Months (187 Days, 7.5 hours/day.)
