Infosys Public Services is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager focused on U.S. Federal markets to drive business development and join our Client Services Group. Position Description The primary focus is to identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities with Federal and Civilian agencies. The candidate will have expertise in these agencies' mission objectives, program operations, and business processes, and be intimately familiar with the life‑cycle acquisition processes that drive the Government technology capture process. The candidate will also demonstrate the ability to offer the customer unique perspectives, possess two‑way solid communication skills, understand client value drivers and business economics, and engage in effective conversations around technology services, offerings, and solutions. Required Experience, Training, Technical Skills, and Other Requirements for Job Performance 14+ years of business development experience, including selling technology‑related services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies with emphasis on IRS, VA, and HHS. Experience closing deals in IT Consulting and Systems Integration (client account selling vs. transaction/product selling). Track record of closing $10M+ IT Consulting / Systems Integration deals. Developed and maintained client and teaming partner relationships in targeted Federal key accounts. Good understanding of IT Projects' Life Cycles and emerging technologies such as Cloud Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain. Willingness to undertake extensive business‑related travel. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Three years of progressive, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of each year of education. Candidates with a Master’s degree program are strongly preferred. The role also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face. Estimated Annual Compensation Range In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, DC: $128,000–$250,000.
