POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for preparing and filing state and federal income returns for the company and ensuring that all tax-related filings are compliant with federal, state, and local tax regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Prepare and file Federal and State Income Tax returns Prepare and file State and Federal quarterly estimates Prepare annual E&P group calculation Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provision Respond to tax notices and audits. Review state sales & use tax filings for Marubeni America Corporation Review state property tax filings for Marubeni America Corporation Prepare and file federal information returns for Marubeni America Corporation and subsidiaries. Prepare and file state annual reports for Marubeni America Corporation MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years of Federal income tax experience Advanced Excel skills required (X-Lookups, SUMIFS, Power Query); ability to build and maintain complex workbooks Strong tax technology skills; experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools a plus; willingness to adopt and champion AI tools and emerging technologies Strong analytical, technical and research skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to Balance Multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines Marubeni America Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Veteran/Disability #J-18808-Ljbffr
