Senior Accounting ManagerThe Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the corporate accounting team and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.Responsibilities Include:Direct oversight of day-to-day and monthly general ledger transactionsSupervise and oversee the corporate GL accounting teamPrepare and reconcile intercompany eliminationsWork with other departments to obtain necessary information to create monthly/quarterly accrualsEnsure accuracy and consistency of financial records by comparing and resolving discrepancies between different sets of data, such as bank statements and internal recordsReview general ledger expense accounts monthly for documentation, consistency and accuracyPrepare or review branch level and business unit financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliancePrepare or review account reconciliations to appropriately support balancesCollaborate with senior team members to streamline and enhance process efficienciesCoordinate and support external and internal audit processes, providing necessary documentation and resolving any audit findings.Assist in preparation of tax documentationDevelop a high performing accounting team to support business unit / branch / or corporate functionsProactively develop solutions to shorten monthly account closeAdditional duties or special projects as assigned.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a large organizationProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliation.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.Compensation & Benefits:BradyPLUS offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to support the health and well-being of our associates and their families.
