About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide the organization through a significant phase of strategic growth and heightened impact. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving systems-level change, with a focus on championing legislation and advancing policies that enhance access to high-quality treatment. This role involves not only leading the implementation of a new strategic vision but also building the necessary philanthropic support, partnerships, and organizational capacity to ensure the vision translates into meaningful and lasting outcomes. The CEO will be instrumental in holding the system accountable, particularly through strategic litigation, and will work to eliminate barriers to treatment for individuals living with serious mental illness and their families. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should be prepared to lead a respected, nonpartisan organization that is dedicated to the cause of treatment access and care for people with serious mental illness. The role requires a leader who can effectively advocate for the perspectives of those directly affected, including individuals with serious mental illness, their families, and caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in philanthropy, partnership development, and organizational management, and will be committed to the mission of the organization. A deep understanding of the mental health landscape, including the challenges and opportunities for policy and legislative change, is essential.
