Full-Time Family Assistant / House Manager (Live-Out) | Miami Beach, FL

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Family Assistant / House Manager to oversee the daily operations of their household and provide hands-on family support. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and ensuring a busy household runs efficiently. The family has three boys, ages 2.5, 5, and 7, and is expecting a new baby. They already employ a full-time nanny, so this is not a primary childcare role. Instead, the Family Assistant will focus on household management, logistics, errands, organization, and supporting the family’s day-to-day operations, while providing occasional assistance with the children’s schedules and activities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys taking ownership of a household while working collaboratively with the family and existing household staff. Schedule This is a full-time, live-out position averaging 40 hours per week. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, depending on the family’s needs. Flexibility is required, as the schedule may occasionally adjust to accommodate vendors, appointments, family events, or household projects. From time to time, a weekday may be exchanged for a weekend day as needed. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the household Coordinate and manage household vendors, contractors, and service appointments Manage household inventory and order supplies as needed Grocery shopping and keeping the pantry, refrigerator, and household essentials stocked and organized Organize closets, storage areas, children’s belongings, and common living spaces Manage dry cleaning, package deliveries, returns, and household errands Coordinate vehicle maintenance, detailing, inspections, and service appointments Maintain household calendars and assist with scheduling appointments Help coordinate the children’s schedules, extracurricular activities, appointments, and logistics Assist with planning children’s birthday parties, playdates, and family events Prepare light meals and assist with simple meal preparation as needed Keep household records, receipts, warranties, and important documents organized Assist the principals with special projects and day-to-day requests Work collaboratively with the family’s full-time nanny to ensure the household runs smoothly Anticipate household needs and proactively resolve issues before they arise Candidate Requirements Minimum of three years of experience as a Family Assistant, House Manager, Personal Assistant, or in a similar private household role Previous experience supporting busy families with children preferred Exceptional organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Professional, polished, proactive, and service-oriented Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision Trustworthy, discreet, and able to maintain strict confidentiality Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Authorized to work in the United States Compensation & Benefits $40–$45 per hour, guaranteed 40 hours per week other benefits to be discussed #J-18808-Ljbffr SOFLO Domestics
