General Neurologist - Coastal Carolina Living, Light Call & Work-Life Balance

Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a growing healthcare system in Conway, South Carolina, in recruiting a General Neurologist to join a physician-centered team. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a primarily outpatient practice, a light inpatient component, strong support services, and an outstanding quality of life near the beaches of Myrtle Beach.

Opportunity Highlights

• 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient practice

• Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

• 36 patient contact hours + 4 hours of protected administrative time weekly

• Average 1822 patients per day

• Call approximately 10 days per month , exclusively at the medical center

• Very light overnight call, supported by telemedicine and a dedicated telestroke program

• ED and telestroke services manage stroke and TPA protocols; neurologists typically do not administer TPA

• Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation

• Onsite EMG technician and access to advanced diagnostic services

• Procedures include EMG, EEG, nerve conduction studies, and Botox

• Broad general neurology patient population, including dementia, Parkinsons disease, MS, migraine, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, and more

• Advanced MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, vascular studies, lumbar puncture, sleep studies, and cognitive testing available
