About this role We are seeking an HVAC Application Engineering professional to join the Syracuse, NY team supporting our Dedicated Outdoor Air Units (DOAS) and Applied Rooftop Units (ARTU). As a senior HVAC Application Engineer, you will work closely with the product manager, our sales teams, and a cross‑functional product team to provide pre‑sales support for our products. Key Responsibilities Provide pre‑sales support for assigned products by answering sales office questions and assisting with equipment selections and specifications. Create, maintain, and update technical sales material, including product data, technical manuals, product bulletins, marketing brochures, application guides, technical presentations, and sales presentations. Assist with selection of software and pricing systems. Work across multiple disciplines to implement corrections, updates, and new product releases into associated systems. Assist Product Managers with planning and implementing product updates and new product releases. Work with Product Managers to perform competitive and market analysis, collect sales office and customer feedback for assigned products. Perform technical training and sales presentations at sales offices, customer events, industry gatherings, and via webinars and recorded sessions. Basic Qualifications Associate degree 1+ years of technical HVAC experience Preferred Qualifications Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include: Bachelors or Bachelors of Science or Masters or Masters of Science degree Technical understanding of HVAC systems, including some or all of the following: system design, building and energy codes, system operation, refrigeration systems, fans, electrical and control systems, and psychometrics’ Well‑developed analytical thinking, critical thinking, problem‑solving skills. Ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, develop conclusions, and propose solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, teamwork, responsibility, dependability, leadership, flexibility, motivation, respect, and patience Basic competency in business fundamentals, strong math skills Solid organizational skills, ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment, ability to prioritize and self‑direct with multiple activities and projects Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Experience with SAP or Salesforce preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Carrier
