Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather clients' histories, identifying their immediate needs and long-term goals for therapy.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on issues including, but not limited to, trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationships.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach that enhances client outcomes and supports program enhancement initiatives.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to maintain high standards of clinical practice and remain informed about emerging trends and methodologies in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Senior Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Your work will encompass a spectrum of mental health conditions, including severe anxiety, chronic depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions, you will support clients in navigating their struggles and achieving their personal development goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience directly working with clients facing mental health challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients quickly and effectively employing strong interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred, aiding in maintaining accurate client documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
