At Blue Moon Fitness , we have made a Declaration of War on Mediocrity . We believe that people do not cancel their gym memberships because of a software glitch or a pricing issue—they cancel because they felt invisible. We refuse to accept invisibility as normal. 

We do not run a chaotic, loud, camera-rolling "kids' table" gym. We are building the "Adult Table" of fitness . We serve the middle of the bell curve: first-time exercisers, GLP-1 patients protecting their muscle, people starting over for the fifth time, and everyday adults fighting to maintain the strength it takes to stand on their own two feet and live an independent life.

THE REALITY OF THIS ROLE: We are hiring full-time Assistant Managers for our Omaha Central location (8447 W Center Rd)—a 17,000 sq ft club that we are actively rebuilding into our official leader training incubator. 

Right now, this club is quiet, and the energy is flat . We do not need "thermometers" who sit back and mirror a quiet room. We need "thermostats"—leaders who walk onto the floor, project warmth and authority, and set the energy for the entire building . 

  OUR THREE UNCOMPROMISING PRINCIPLES:

1. Rules Before Rates: We don't care how much money someone pays us—if they drop weights, hog equipment, judge others who don't know how to use a club, clean up after themselves or just act rudely, they get one warning before we cancel their membership. We protect good members from gym jerks. 

2. The Customer Is Always Served: The customer is not always right, but the customer is always served. We say "no" to entitlement so gentle members feel safe. 

3. The Mother 500 Miles Away Test: You will treat every member the exact way you would want your own mother treated if she were in a gym 500 miles away dealing with strangers: with warmth, respect, and dignity—without letting her break the rules. 

  WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO EVERY DAY:
• Raise the Energy (Floor Ownership): Walk into a quiet room and actively lift the vibe. Abide by the 10-Foot Rule (Standard 8)—every member within 10 feet gets eye contact, a warm smile, and a greeting by name. You greet members when they leave, not just when they arrive.
• The 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Daily Floor Overlap : Work directly alongside your co-Assistant Manager during this 2-hour daily window. Zero desk-sitting. You will make outbound calls to new web leads (targeting <15-minute response times), check in on absent members, and execute our 15-day guest conversion cadence.
• Proximity-Based Member Retention: Take immediate ownership of the members in your orbit during your shift. You are accountable for the members closest to you—learning why they joined, guiding them through their first 60 days, celebrating their workout milestones, and following up with genuine care if you notice their routine slipping
• White-Glove Inspections: You will do cleaning— but we provide a dedicated 46-hour weekly cleaning team to scrub bathrooms and heavy machinery. Your job is to inspect their work, direct their efforts, and ensure the club meets a 90%+ white-glove "hotel room fresh" standard daily.
• Enforcing Culture & Standards: Hold the line on filming/photography bans, weight-dropping, and look-at-me behavior. Keep the room comfortable for everyone sitting at the adult table.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
• High Energy & Floor Presence: You naturally project warmth, authority, and high engagement. You prefer walking the floor over sitting in a chair.
• Alignment with "Rules Before Rates": You are comfortable holding boundaries with confidence and grace. You understand that protecting culture is how a club grows.
• Zero Guessing (Standard 1): If you do not know an answer, you say "I don't know, but I will find out by 3:00 PM"—and then you deliver. You never guess to sound smart.



 • Full-Time Leadership & Owner Mindset: Full-time leadership position. You take total accountability for the success of the club and bring a "whatever-it-takes" work ethic. This includes flexibility for overtime, mandatory leadership meetings, peak operational coverage, and putting in the time required during your initial ramp-up to master the culture and win.
• Guided by AI, Driven by You: You won't be left guessing. You’ll use our custom AI co-pilot, built on 50 years of fitness and business experience, to coach members and make quick decisions on the floor. Your daily floor feedback will directly train the AI, helping our entire team learn faster and eliminate repeated mistakes.

Compensation Note: $17.00/hour guaranteed base pay + top-line revenue share. Total On-Target Earnings (OTE) expected between $48,000 – $65,000+ based on club volume and performance.
