The typical working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, establishing personalized treatment plans aimed at improving function and alleviating pain.Utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and state-of-the-art modalities tailored to each patient's unique needs.Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records that reflect improvements and adaptations made to therapy plans.Engage in continuous assessment of therapeutic goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to patient progress and recovery stages.Educate and train patients and their families on effective use of assistive devices and home exercise programs, promoting independence and self-care.Assume an active role in collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance integrated care for patients.Commit to ongoing professional development by attending workshops, engaging in continuing education opportunities, and participating in relevant professional organizations.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Patients span various demographic groups, allowing for a rich tapestry of clinical experiences. Your expertise will guide these clients through rehabilitation as they work towards regaining their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.QualificationsHolds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) as mandated by state regulations.Possesses a valid State License in Physical Therapy.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Proficient in documentation and basic computer skills necessary for record-keeping and scheduling.Flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to adapt in a dynamic work environment.Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply for mentorship opportunities.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or an internship related to orthopedic physical therapy is advantageous.Experience with electronic medical record systems.Ability to demonstrate leadership abilities in a team-focused environment.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
