You will work alongside a passionate team dedicated to creating effective rehabilitation solutions in a friendly and professional atmosphere.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patient conditions and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal rehabilitation outcomes.Implement and oversee specialized therapies, focusing on both orthopedic recovery and Pelvic Floor rehabilitation, as well as manual therapy techniques.Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies to enhance their overall wellness.Ensure meticulous documentation and patient record-keeping consistent with legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy, applying new methods to improve treatment efficacy.Patient Population / Client FocusAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Rising Sun Physical Therapy, you will engage with a diverse patient population. Our clients range from post-operative orthopedic patients needing rehabilitation after surgery to individuals managing chronic pain or sports-related injuries. We take a holistic approach to patient care, addressing both physical and emotional well-being, which aids in quicker recovery and improved quality of life.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree.Active Physical Therapy License in California is required.CPR Certification is preferred but not mandatory.Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, specifically in orthopedic care.Strong communication skills that foster positive relationships with patients and team members.A growth mindset with a commitment to learning and employing new strategies for patient care improvement.Preferred ExperienceExperience in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, with certification preferred.Demonstrated ability to handle varied caseloads efficiently while maintaining high documentation standards.A background in working collaboratively within a private practice setting is advantageous.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
