Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Staff Accountant to support the organization's corporate reporting function. This role will collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and organizational standards.Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting
• Support Board reporting, compliance reporting, and external audit requests
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze financial data with accuracy
• Assist with cash management, treasury activities, and ERP system maintenance and enhancements
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally while providing strong internal and external customer service

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• 1+ years of financial reporting and/or public accounting experience
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Workday or within the data center industry preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
