Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key contributor to their accounting team, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and integration of newly acquired entities. This role offers exposure to consolidation, acquisition accounting, and cross-functional initiatives, making it ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in public accounting looking to grow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own key components of the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and support financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
- Assist with financial consolidations across multiple entities
- Support purchase accounting and integration of newly acquired entities
- Partner with external auditors and advisors on audit and tax compliance
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Support onboarding and integration of new entities into shared services processes
- Contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and ad hoc projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and financial visibility
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
- CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience in multi-entity environments or consolidations preferred
- ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
