Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse position is available in Berlin, Vermont. This assignment requires candidates to have the appropriate licensure and prior experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing. The role involves working night shifts and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of employment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment for a period of 13-16 weeks.

Job Details:

• Location: Berlin, Vermont
• Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Experience: Five (5) years of medical-surgical telemetry experience or three (3) years of telemetry experience is required; prior travel experience is essential
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are required; NIHSS must be completed prior to starting; telemetry certification is preferred
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, from Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) is required for submission; EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is non-negotiable
• Responsibilities include NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, telemetry strip interpretation, and bedside patient care
• Travel required for assignments in facilities with 300+ beds or previous experience at a UVMHN acute care facility
