As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment by responding to security-related concerns, assisting with hospital protocols, and working collaboratively with staff and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun10:30 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions or incidents to appropriate personnel. Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Guard card is required. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
