Personal Injury Paralegal

Whitecap Search is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join a prestigious NJ-based law firm's legal team. The successful candidate will support attorneys in all aspects of personal injury litigation, from initial client intake through settlement or trial. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting and filing legal documents, managing discovery, and preparing for depositions and trials. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case progress. Maintain and organize case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary records and reports. Prepare settlement demands and assist in negotiating settlements. Track and manage deadlines for court filings and other legal procedures. Qualifications Associate's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program. Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law or related field. Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Skills Experience with case management software. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
